Due Dates were not changed when copied

Hi

We tried several times with the Shift Dates Option and "Adjust events and due dates " when copying Course to Course, the only things changes was the Start and End dates for the new Course, all Quizzes and Announcements still have the old Dates of the old course.

What we tried to do is making all the due dates changed accordingly to the Start and End dates of the course.

 @qnguyen ​, I just tested this with my fall course (important from spring 2016 to fall 2016) and here's how my import settings in my course looked; see image below. The big thing was that when I went to shift my dates the "change to" dates were already there for me (based on our term dates for fall 2016), but the Beginning and Ending dates (boxed in red) were blank. I had to manually add the term start and end date for the original course (spring 2016). Doing this all of my assignment dates shifted in a reasonable way. No, not perfectly, but close enough that I would consider the tool to be functioning correctly.

Thank you for your reply, but we don't have a term set yet, then I even went to set those Dates ( Beginning & Change to ) but it didn't work

Did you have all the dates set to something?

Yes we did for all 4 places.

We set everything start from August but then all Assignments still have the old dates

Thanks for the screen shots! Given this information I would definitely contact Canvas Support to see what the problem is. This is not normal Canvas behavior.
