I see the new link in my top-level admin area. However, nothing is populated on the list. How are these suspect portfolios identified? Canvas algorithm? Thanks.
I heard back from erinhallmark this morning. Here is what she told me:
They can be flagged by the system or marked manually. We already ran some backend checks to try and check for as much spam as we can deduce using keywords in existing eportfolios. It should be more common for her to not see much there.
I'm not sure that I'm familiar with what you are seeing. Are you working in the Canvas ePortfolios? Or, are you using the new Portfolium integration (which might be labeled as "Folio" within your Canvas "Account" menu)?
Oh, interesting. This must be new? I hadn't seen this link before you pointed it out. Though, I'll admit that I've been away on Christmas vacation since December 20. Did you take a look at the information provided in the Canvas Release Notes (2019-12-21) to see if that might help?
Yes, I did. But I cannot figure out how content is identified as problematic to appear on the list. Is this something the system scans and flags? Or users see something and flag it? It doesn't say.
