Hi I'm CANVAS user in Honduras Central America and I've been struggling with grades export CSV format since my PC is Windows operative system and when I export my gradebook the whole scores are scrambled, Anyone knows how to fix this? or is there is an option to download XLS format?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If what is shown is correct, that looks like the download was open in a text editor not in Excel or other spreadsheet software.
Opening the download csv in Excel or other spread sheet should show all the entries in individual columns.
If that is in excel or similar, then click on the first column heading (A by default) and under the data option select the text to columns and use delimited to separate columns based on commas.
Other than that I would need more information about the problem.
I have the same problem, this is how the gradebook appears once it's downloaded:

I was using excel, but that solved it, thank you!

I did not solve it as described above...
