Follett Integration with Canvas

We'd recently purchased Follett Discover licenses and now I'd like to integrate it with Canvas. My question is this: can the Follett Discover icon be visible for students but not for faculty? I'd like to suppress the icon on the faculty side until we have more time to properly introduce it. Can this be done?

I am sorry to see that your question has been sitting here unanswered for such a long time without a response.  Full disclosure...I've not used the Follett Discover LTI app (which I assume, is this one Edu App Center: Follett Discover).  Were you able to find a solution?  I'm not sure if there would be any XML code (usually provided by the developer...in this case Follett) that you could modify to meet your needs.

Also, another thought I had was...did you do any testing of this app in your school's "test" environment first before releasing it to your students/instructors in your school's "production" environment?  That way, you can test out the functions of the app to know all the capabilities before putting it into production.  What is the Canvas test environment?  How do I access the Canvas test environment as an admin?
