Hello, I would like to give a quiz in Canvas, but do not want students to see the questions and incorrect answers when they are done. I would like to hide all questions and answers. Is this possible? What if I mute the assignment in speedgrader, will it hide everything until I am prepared for them to review the quiz? Thank you for any input you may have.

Welcome to the Canvas Community!!!
In the quiz options (Details tab) as log as Let Students See Their Quiz Responses (Incorrect Questions Will Be Marked in Student Feedback) is not checked, they should not be able to see anything after they submit the quiz. This also assumes that they only get on attempt at the quiz as well.

After the teacher has graded the quiz and post the scores, will the student be able to see the questions? I do not wish to release the questions just yet as this will compromise test integrity.

Thank you for responding! When I previewed the quiz I made, I purposely answered some questions incorrectly and those questions and answers were displayed to me after completing the quiz, even though I had unchecked "Let students see their quiz responses." I could not see the correct questions and answers. Is there a way to hide the incorrect questions/responses as well, or will those always display to the student?
Bueller? Bueller?...
This is a serious problem for Canvas, if it can't prevent the entire quiz + response options to be displayed after a quiz.
And since Canvas doesn't let teachers see what a real student would see during an exam (a "test student" isn't the same and actually has editing capabilities on the mobile app!), I don't know if this is a problem only when teachers are previewing their own quizzes. Are actual students seeing the entire quiz after they take it??
Since no one from Canvas or community leader has directly answered this and similar questions over the years, we're left to assume that Canvas did not think through this feature OR responded to all of the suggestions to create a new feature that allows us to hide a quiz. Not only does this enable students in the same class to cheat, it compromises the quiz so completely that it shouldn't be run in future classes. That is, Canvas is forcing teachers to create new quizzes for every class.
If I'm wrong, I'd love for someone in the know to correct me...
