How do I delete an old course from Dashboard?

I would like to eliminate old courses and files

Hi Kathleen -

If you click Courses then All Courses, you will see a list of all available courses. Here, just to the left of the course name, you should see a star. The star will include it on the dashboard and removing the star will also remove it from the dashboard.
