How do I email submit assignments to canvas?

Certain professors want most assignments submitted to be graded on canvas but I'm not seeing how to submit them.

Also, the title of your question includes the word "email," so I want to address that: it's been my experience that many, if not most, instructors do not want their students to submit assignments via email, and some instructors will not even acknowledge emails as valid assignment submissions—so I recommend not exploring that option at all.
