Let me get this clear. You have recorded yourself in a discussion post and can't seem to navigate back to the discussion?
Did you manage to post your video in the discussion?
To go back to your discussion depends on how your instructor has things set up. Discussions might appear in the course navigation menu on the left hand side. But it could also be hidden, in which case it might be part of a module or embedded on a page.
It might pay to reach out to a colleague in the course or even your instructor to see if they can assist you in getting back to the correct place.
