How do you change point value of a banked question in the new quiz/exam maker?

I am using the new quiz/exam tool that you use under the assignments tab. I can't seem to change the point value for a question. All questions only have a point value of 1.

Hello  @tahickson .  I believe you are talking about Quizzes.Next (user group here, Quizzes.Next User Group).  In an assessment made through Quizzes.Next, you don't change the point value in the bank but in the quiz itself.  When a question is added from a bank, in the quiz click the edit (pencil) icon.  You are shown a popup window where you can edit the question in the bank but if you scroll down toward the bottom of a question you should see a field where you can adjust the value of the question itself (see below).

OH GOSSSHHHH. This has been bothering me more than once. I found this and then forgot. That is really hidden. I'm commenting here to help me remember to find this options. UGGGH.

@Chris_Hofer   I am using this tool in 2022 and the option seems to not be there? 

I have banked questions, and when I go to edit them, under the Outcomes section, it says Tags and Metadata. There's no way to adjust points. 

I am working on an ordering item.

I looked and don't see a way to change the points on a specific question in the item bank. If the total points for whole test needs to be changed, that can be done in settings and Canvas will calculate the correct grade. Sorry I could be more help. Sounds like a feature request.

So I discovered something of a work-around. I added the question from the bank, then once it was in the quiz, I duplicated the question. 

I was able to edit the points value for the duplicated item. I then just deleted the question bank question. Not super efficient, but it got the job done.
