How do I mute student scores in Speedgrader once a quiz is published? There used to be a mute function to mute quiz grades until after the quiz closed.

Hi @lees2 - That changed with the New Gradebook; it has been replaced by the grade posting policy. (Same end result; different procedure.) Start here (How do I use posting policies in a course? ) and follow some of the other links within that online lesson as appropriate. For example, you can essentially "mute" (to use the old terminology) all assignments with a course-wide grade posting policy, or do it assignment-by-assignment, like before (assignment post policy).
Also, there is a really nice overview of the differences between the old "mute" and the new policies outlined here: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-17587-new-gradebook-and-speedgrader-muting-behavior-changes . You may actually want to start with that, since you knew how to use the older "mute" ability.
Hope this helps, Sandra.
