Hello @rgreene Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thank you for posting your question. Earlier this month I helped reply to a similar question. Some of the resources here might be of help to you: How do you load a power point from a computer to your files? Once you have uploaded your PPT file(s) to your course, then you can make links to them in your course content pages.
Or, you can add a PPT file directly to your module as its own item:
How do I add assignment types, pages, and files as module items?
