Hello! I am working a Canvas implementation for an Executive Education program and looking for recommendations around LTI's or APIs that would allow for more comprehensive group creation functionality, (beyond the discussion group creation). Our program delivery team is looking to create groups based on various inputs. We currently use an in-house app/algorithm to create living groups, section groups, discussion groups and ad hoc groups based on various selectable filters, such as, gender, age, industry and so on. Ideally, these lists would be exportable and importable via csv file. Also, the output would be editable –in other words, changes can be made to groups that are auto-created.
Any thoughts or ideas welcome. Just trying to do a quick market scan before we break down and build a new tool to integrate with canvas.Thanks in advance!
