Hi rreyes21 and welcome to the Canvas Community.
I think the standard limit is 500 MB for each course and 50 MB for a user's personal storage. However it's possible for an admin to change these limits at system level so you could contact the local Canvas admin/technical support at your school/college to confirm what the limit is for your Canvas system.
This was an interesting read about storage Course Storage Report and Quotas by vanzandt.
Also, if you go to 'Settings' in the course navgation menu at the bottom, then to 'Course statistics' near the top right, then 'file storage' you will be able to see your file storage there.
