Is text to speech available in canvas

Is there a function that will allow text to become speech for students that would need that?

There is a Microsoft Immersive Reader that is currently being offered in Canvas as a trial feature that you might be able to use.  It is only available for content pages...not assignments, discussion topics, quizzes, etc.

ReadSpeaker offers three different solutions for Canvas depending on your specific campus need.  

1.  ReadSpeaker for Canvas. 100% Web-based.   This brings Text to Speech natively inside Canvas.  Implementation is a Global Plugin.  Works on all browsers and devices. A UDL Campus Model

2.  Browser Extension.  Example.  ReadSpeaker offers many browser extensions, a Google Chrome browser extension, and be added individually or Force pushed to all registered campus devices.  The Extension does READ in IFRAMES.  

3.  ReadSpeaker TextAid LTI.  100% Web-based.  This is geared to supported students with 504s and IEPS to support accommodations like Reader for Tests and Print Disabilities.  This can be a single license or a campus-wide license.  Also has a browser extension(#2).
