Java Script and Theme Editor

I have found and updates a custom javascript file to use in my Canvas instance.  I have it working in the beta instance but I wanted to know if there was a way to remove it from the theme editor if there comes a time that it needs to be deleted.  I tried clicking the x next to the file but it won't let me change the file and I have tried to upload a blank Java file but that didn't work either.  Any suggestions on how to remove the file?

Hello @alunsfor ...

After you clicked on the "x" to remove the JS file from the theme editor, did you click on the buttons at the bottom of your screen to "Save" and "Apply" (or maybe I got the sequence of those buttons reversed) the changes you made so that the JS file is no longer loaded for your Canvas environment?
