Linking Modules to home page

When I link an individual module to a button on my homepage, all of my modules are showing up.  I am clicking module and clicking an individual module on the drop down, but it is still showing all my modules when a student clicks on the button. How can I link to only one module?

That link is more of an Anchor point, it WILL bring you to the module page that shows all modules, but it will land you to the location of the desired module in that page. If you have a very long module, it will save your students' time to navigate to it.

As @langlangcat has stated, the way that Canvas works is that it basically creates an anchor point to the specific module within the larger "Modules" page.  I would argue that this how it currently works "by design" and is not necessarily a "problem".  That being said, you might want to consider submitting an idea here in the Community where you'd like to link to a single module (and that is the only module that would show on the screen for students).  The documentation for creating new ideas in the "Ideas and Themes" space is located here (look under the heading "Ideas and Themes":

I know this isn't a direct answer to your question, but please consider creating an idea so that others would have a chance to evaluate it to see if they would also find it a valuable addition to Canvas.
