Moving an assignment to my module

I have an assignment in under assignment menu. How can I move it to a weekly module so students can see it in module rather than under the assignments? When I try adding the assignment to my module, it does not appear under selection to add to my module, its submission date is May 3 and May 4, 2020.

Are you following the directions outlined in this Guide?  https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26329-how-do-i-add-assignment-types-pages-and-files-as-modu... Specifically, it sounds like you would want to look at the "Add Existing Item" section of that Guide since you've already created the assignment on your "Assignments" index page.

Thank you for your response. I was finally able to accomplish this. Being new to this, I struggled quite a bit and just getting by now.
