New instructors unable to add or edit pages

Hi,

I have recently added several new teachers to our Canvas account, with the exact same privileges as existing teachers. However, two of the new teachers have reported they are unable to

a) create new content pages - upon naming a new page, the 'add' button doesn't function; it just hangs

b) edit existing content - the 'edit' button is missing from the top-right corner

I'm at a bit of a loss to know why this is. Help!
