Observer role permissions

Dear Q&A,

As a co-teacher of a Canvas course that is a series of workshops, I'd like to grant visibility, though not yet editablity, permission of all the course modules to a larger, non-student, yet stakeholder group.

I presume the recently added Observer role would handle that need, true?
