Observers in Canvas

I manually entered parents into my language arts class as observers. I also created a mock parent account with our Test Student, and I was able to automatically view all courses in which our Test Student is enrolled with other teachers. Therefore, I thought all parents would also be able to view all courses for the student they are observing. Easy peasy- one shot for all! However, it turns out that some parents are able to see my language arts class only, and they can't view math, science, etc. I didn't do anything different for any of them, and I don't see a setting for this. Any help is appreciated!

The Observers should see all of the courses in which the student is enrolled, just like your Test Student. Is there a chance that the families haven't added the other courses to their dashboard? (How do I view my favorite courses in the Card View Dashboard as an observer?‌)
