I do daily in-class writes. Most of my students choose to handwrite them, and then I grade them in Canvas. However, this semester I've had a lot of absences as students are out of class for Covid quarantine. So I made it possible for the quarantined students to submit their in-class write online.
It goofs up the notifications, though. Even though I've graded the in-class writes, the students who do the assignment in the classroom with me get told they haven't submitted it, and it shows up as not submitted and late on Canvas.
Is there a way to turn off the notifications telling students the assignment is late if I've graded it?
