Hi!
Is this not possible to do on Canvas?
An ungraded anonymous Survey that can have both "no right answer" and "right answer" questions.
For example, the 1st question asks "how confident do you feel..." - this obviously doesn't have a right answer.
The 2nd answer tests their knowledge "what is the population..." - this has a correct answer.
I would then be able to see the survey statistics to see how many people answer correctly and also how confident they feel about the subject.
I've been testing for an hour, but I can't find a solution that works. Hope you can help, thanks!
Hi There @martv great question.
I'm wondering if likert scales might work for you in this instance.
Here's a guide that explains how to use them https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-create-Likert-scale-quiz-questions/ta-p...
Sing out if you need a hand.
Thanks for your help!
I tried Likert scales, but it's not the solution. For example, a question like "do you track your expenses" should have three possible answers: yes, no, sometimes.
If I choose "Dropdown", there's one correct answer. If I choose "Fill in the blank", the student still has to type "yes" out, they aren't able to select an option.
Right now i just embedded a Google Form, which still isn't a perfect solution. 😞
