Hi!
Is there any way of making a page visible only once for the students, as it is possible for the quizzes?
Or, is it possible to erase a quiz from the list of results (swedish: omdömen)?
We want our students to be able to see the information only once, but we do not want them to answer any questions about it, or get any results. Is this possible in any way?
Kind regards,
Rebecca
@rebecca_asker , the only way I can think to do this in Canvas is as part of a quiz. You wouldn't have to include any questions or make it worth any points to make it work, just add the file to a text no question in the Quiz and use the settings to make it so students only have one attempt and can't view anything after they are done. You could also set a time limit on it so they would only have a certain amount of time to view the information once they open the quiz.

Thank you, Kona!
We'll probably use the quizzes then. Another issue is that when the students look at their course results/grades, they find the quiz in their list, even though it is not supposed to be graded (because we only use it for information). Is there any way of hiding the quiz in the list of course results? I know it is possible to make a "regular" assignment disappear by changing the settings, so that it will not be shown in the list. However, the quizzes do not seem to offer this option. Or am I missing something?
I haven't played around with it recently, but I wonder if you used a nongraded quiz or survey if it would show up in the gradebook? I'd definitely start with that and see if it helps.
