The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
We recently began using the Outcomes feature in order to collect data for outcomes assessment. While the Canvas implementation is not ideal, it allows us to easily collect this data using a process already familiar to faculty.
Ideally, we would like to hide the outcome assessments from the students. It appears that there *used* to be a way to do this, but not any more? Has this been requested of Instructure?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hello, @DavidBourgeois ! Are you talking about hiding the results of the Outcomes? If so, go to Settings>Feature Option> Student Learning Mastery Gradebook> disable.
(Click the green button to disable.)
This will allow teachers to see the Outcomes, but not students.
