SpeedGrader Annotation Question

When I enter SpeedGrader there are no highlighting tools or "boxed note" tools or pen tools available.  If I download the paper these tools are available but I see no way to save the file so I can re upload it.  When I have annotated a downloaded submission in SpeedGrader how do I save the annotations so I can re upload the submission?

I'm sorry to see that no one has responded to this long-standing question. I suspect the absence of annotation tools to which you're referring is a function of the assignment submission type; certain file upload types are supported, but text entry submissions do not allow for annotations.
