Storyline 360 Not Launching in New Tab in Canvas

Hello, I am experiencing issues with Storyline 360 not launching on a new tab in Canvas. I have set the Storyline 360 file to "Launch player in new browser window" but it is still not doing that in Canvas. This presents an issue as I have put in an "Exit" button intended to allow the participant to exit the course and return to Canvas. The Exit button, at this point, doesn't do anything. I have tried rebuilding from scratch and also redoing the trigger and nothing works, so at this point I think it might be a Canvas issue. I have also tried different browsers (FireFox and Chrome) but neither functions. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated.

Not sure this is really related, but out of curiosity, are you using the SCORM LTI app to load your Storyline content?  I provided a solution in this thread: Solved: Storyline 360 Content Not loading Properly - Canvas Community.
