I notice that when I grade something, the item disappears off my to-do list without my having to do anything. However, student to-do lists are not clearing once an assignment has been completed or once an announcement has been viewed.
The question is "What are we doing wrong?" or "How do we make sure the to-do list clears?"
Operating systems of the students: macbook iOS (current) chrome/safari/firefox and iPad (current) - safari AND the app.

This is actually something that was a known issue. This is what we have received from Support:
"This is a known issue that your engineers have fixed in the Canvas iOS Student App version 6.6.7. We suggest updating the app to version 6.6.7. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/canvas-student/id480883488"
This ticket was closed on October 30. Please confirm that the students have updated to the most recent versionof the app.

Yes, students have the most recent update. The issue is this is on all websites and apps, not just iPads. The lists do not clear for any of my students when using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on any platform.
