Unable to access my course materials

I just purchased my ebook access from Oxford University Press for my course: PortlandSU_Strand_MUS301-1_F19 but I can't access any of the course materials in Canvas. The course shows up in the Courses tab but when I’m in the course home screen, nothing appears when I click on the links for the weekly readings and quizzes. Is there some step that I've missed?

You have posted your question in the Canvas Community public forum.  This forum is designed to answer questions regarding how to use the Canvas Learning Management System.   As such, we do not have access to your courses or course content.  I would recommend contacting your instructor for more information regarding course specific questions like the one above.

This is especially true for ebooks and digital content that is delivered by a publisher through Canvas.  This content is not native to Canvas and typically myst be supported by the publisher.

I'm going to borrow the standard reply from stefaniesanders‌ regarding updating your browser in order to see course materials in Canvas:

It's quite possible that this is due to an issue with an out-of-date/unsupported browser. Please try these troubleshooting steps:

• Check your device compatibility: What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas?
• Check your browser compatibility: Which browsers does Canvas support?  (Note that Internet Explorer 11 is not a supported browser, and if you're using IE11, you should have been automatically redirected to a page providing additional instructions.)
• Try a different browser. The latest version of Chrome works great in both Windows and MacOS. If Chrome is giving you issues, switch to the latest version of Firefox.

If none of these methods solve the problem, contact Canvas Support. General instructions are in How do I get help with Canvas as a student? but your school's support setup might vary somewhat, in which case ask your local IT Department for additional troubleshooting assistance.
