The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December.

Our students all use iPads and have uploaded to the new iOS. Unfortunately, they are no longer able to download anything from the Canvas app. They can still use Canvas in a browser to download files from Canvas- but cannot download files from within the Canvas app. Anyone have any fixes for this?

kkr255, no fixes, but I strongly recommend (if you haven't already), to contact Canvas Support about this issue. Not only will this alert them to the problem, but that way you'll be notified as soon as there is a fix in place (or a workaround).
Already been reported- just reaching out to see if others have found work-arounds.
Very good, I just saw on this post - https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-6511#comment-43059 - that, "Our iOS engineers are currently working on a fix for the modules behavior and will release it as quickly as they can." so hopefully the issue will be resolved quickly!!
