Welcome to the Canvas Community!
There are two navigation areas in Canvas. The Global Navigation and the Course Navigation.
Global navigation is what you see on the left side of the screen when you first log into Canvas. Course Navigation is what you see on the left side of the screen once you access a course. The links below should help.
