how do I submit a file upload through canvas?

I'm trying to turn in a file upload into canvas but there is no submitting button within the module where I need to turn in my assignment. Is there another way to upload a file?

Hi,  @aprinz1   and Welcome to the Canvas Community! You wouldn't find the Submit Assignment button within the module itself; it would display when you click on the link to the assignment, as depicted in  How do I submit an online assignment?. For something like this, you'll need to contact your instructor directly for additional guidance, as it is possible they need to tweak the assignment settings. Sending a message through the Canvas Inbox is the quickest way (How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?‌)
