html editor button is not available

so I am not seeing the html editor button so i can upload my google slides into a new page on canvas. all it posts are the codes from the google slides. I have watch youtube videos where the person has the html editor button and it worked. I am new to this and it is extremely frustrating. I tried to get live help but there is like 12,000 people on. how ridiculous.
