Hi community,
This question may have been asked already. I am trying to un-enroll students in bulk from a section using a CSV file. Can someone help me with the content of the enrolment.csv or share with me what file I should be using?
Thank you!

Hello @pwoodley ...
Full disclosure... I do not know a whole lot about SIS imports, but have you taken a look at the documentation available in your Canvas account? I'm assuming that you are a Canvas administrator for your school, so if you go to "Admin" >> {account name} >> "SIS Import", there is a link near the top of that page for "please see this documentation". That may give you some insights on how to format the file to unenroll students in bulk. Here are a bunch of admin Guides:
- What student information system (SIS) integrations are available in Canvas?
- How do I import SIS data to a Canvas account?
- How do I format CSV text files for uploading SIS data into a Canvas account?
- How do I create an automated data integration for an account with Canvas and my SIS?
- How do I practice using the API to import SIS data to a Canvas account?
- What do I need to know about creating a script to automatically import SIS data to a Canvas account?
Also, I am not sure if you've seen this write-up by @chadscott, but you might be interested in reading: Bulk Remove Students Tool.
I hope these resources will be of help to you. Sing out if you have any other questions about this...thanks! Take care, stay safe, and be well.
