Pathway Pre-requisite Steps Not Showing Up

Hi - I am trying to create a pre-requisite option whereby students can get 2 or 4 possible badges. However, it's not showing up. As you can see in the attached pathway, because the middle stage is all optional, it is only showing up the first stage 721/710 as the pre-req steps for 770. I don't know what to do. I want students to complete 2 of the 4 optional stages. Thoughts?

The steps below have to be marked as Required. Then they will show up in the Prerequisite field where you can then select how many of them you want to be required. See the screenshot for what the interface looks like that allows you to select how many prerequisites are required.
