Permissions for instructors on credentials seem not to be applying

We are deploying Canvas Credentials and have built pathways with suitable badges. I have set the course badges with trigger assignments within the courses and subscribes the course to the pathway if relevant.

We have many teachers in the same course, and wish to have the badges only be deployed awarded via the trigger assignments that we (admins) set up. In our current setting, teachers are able to edit the badges, and the triggers for them in each course.

The settings that I have added in to each course via the credentials admin tab are as follows, If anyone is able to provide advice on how to limit this ability for teachers to edit anything to do with credentials (we want them to only have the ability to review student progress of badges and pathways) I'd be very grateful.

Deployment preferences
Enabling this option allows instructors to utilize their personal Canvas Badges Issuers alongside connected organizations or enabled issuers. If disabled, they will be restricted from using their personal issuers.
Enabling this option allows instructors the ability to create and modify badges within the integration. If disabled, instructors are unable to perform these actions, and badge authoring must be managed by LMS admins or issuer staff members through the Canvas Badges interface.
Enabling this option allows instructors to subscribe pathways to the group. If disabled, instructors are unable to perform these actions, and pathway subscriptions must be managed by LMS admins or issuer staff members through the Canvas Badges interface.
Enabling this option ensures that credentials data, including badges, pathways, and integration settings are copied to new courses from template and blueprint courses. Note: Credentials data will copy only if the issuer in the template's integration is available and unlocked for the destination course.
