Common Cartridge or Canvas Commons: Import from Common Cartridge shows wrong content randomly

Good afternoon, everyone, 

Happy Friday! I am working with my developers to try and solve this issue. Our customers when importing our curriculum through Canvas Commons or from a Common Cartridge file sometimes come across curriculum that displays the wrong information. This happens very randomly and affects a very small percentage of our overall curriculum. 

To define randomly; I could import our curriculum and find that Assignment A in Course B isn't working correctly. If I re-import or copy the course; Assignment A in Course B is working normally; but Assignment X in Course L isn't working now. 

My developers think there might be a process during import that could be corrupting the LTI links. We are not pointing fingers; only trying to solve the issue and I am sharing our experiences and thoughts.

This problem only affects our Canvas customers. Other LMS customers haven't reported this issue to us. Again, not pointing fingers just relaying information.

Has anyone else come across this issue? What was the resolution?
