Hi,
I have a custom javascript, I need to add it to my global Javascript, any ideas on how to add it to my existing global JS?
Thanks
If you haven't seen it already, this would be a good place to start: How do I upload custom JavaScript and CSS files to an account?
Following up, if you have an existing custom JavaScript file, you'd download it through that interface by clicking the View File link, edit it to include the new JavaScript, and then upload the edited file.
If you don't already have any custom JavaScript, you'd simply upload the file containing the JavaScript you'd like to add.
i don't want to add it in the theme editor, is there any way out we can add it in the code and our theme remains the same?
The JavaScript doesn't necessarily change the look of Canvas, unless that what's its goal is, but it will add whatever features are designed to your Canvas for any courses/content below the account you install the JS too. Themes is the only place to add code to Canvas to customize its features.
