Presenting institution privacy notice or Terms and Conditions

Howdy all,

We use Shibboleth (SAML) to log in to Canvas at our institution. We also have the option of utilising Azure AD (and have been considering this move for a while).

A recent requirement has come up to present an institution specific privacy notice (and Terms and Conditions of system use). I am wondering if anyone has achieved this with either SAML or Azure AD, and how you might have done this?

Given the move to single-sign-on, often the login screen itself may even be bypassed if a user is authenticated. Hence, keen to understand if others have faced this, and how you managed to do so?

Also going to ping APAC‌ and Canvas Admins‌ to see if anyone may have any additional thoughts.

 @stuart_ryan ‌, last year we worked with our CSM to get custom language for our district added to the Acceptable Use Policy link at the bottom of the Canvas Dashboard.

That is fantastic thank you. I will discuss this with our CSM as it sounds like it may have changed since we originally implemented Canvas.
