Prevent drag and drop for calendar items

Hi all.  I'm currently looking for a solution to prevent drag & drop for specific calendar items (which I can identifiy by specific span content).

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions?  I've been inspecting the elements trying to narrow down which properties are responsible for allowing it to drag with no success.
