Studio API to Search All Media

Hi,

Has anyone figured out how to search Studio via API for a list of all media? We find the lack of transparency and administrative UI to be a major roadblock. We are struggling to know what media exists, who owns it, and (in an ideal world) where it is placed in courses via LTI.

If anyone has experience with this, I am very interested in talking.

The following metadata would be of value.

• Owner (account email)
• Media title
• Media embed id
• Description
• Duration
• Tags
• Captions present? (null if no captions are present)
• Size (MB) of source file
• Date uploaded
• Collection name (null if not added to a collection)
• Course Location (null if not added to a course)

And to add one more, total views.

Totally agree, Jeff!

My issue is that I am an instructional designer with no understanding or support for using API calls. I'm wondering if anyone who feels confident with this would be interested in discussing a small paid project...
