Use API to determine if a Quiz Bank Exists in a Course

There is currently no way to work with Canvas Quiz Banks through the API.  @stuart_ryan  has put together a good list document discussions around that here. 

That said, I am trying to figure out if there is any way to determine if a quiz bank exists in a course. 

It looks like there is a way to pull information on Quiz Groups that has information on whether a question comes from a question bank (assessment_question_bank_id), but that would potentially miss any question banks that don’t have questions included in a quiz group.

Any one have any ideas?
