Don’t get me wrong, there is definitely some value to the default black text on white background that we see on so many (*ahem ALL) our Canvas pages. It’s the maximum amount of contrast and allows for technically easy readability and accessibility. But there is also value in changing things up a little bit. Add some variation and creativity. Let your students know that you are interested in presenting this content to them and that the course wasn’t created by robots.
