This week, Instructure emailed customers to notify them that we have engaged a new subprocessor by Ping Identity Corporation for identity management services.
This subprocessor by Ping Inc. is a prerequisite for Instructure to deliver a global identity service that will enable a unified login experience with better interoperability across applications and instances. The new global identity service is not planned for release until later in 2025. However, as per our DPA agreement, we provide customers with advance notification so they have time to get any of their questions answered.
