formatting multiple choice questions

How can I create multiple choice answers in the following format
⨀ A. portray the Soviet Union as an aggressive force that could be controlled only by an alliance of world powers
⨀ B. describe the influence the Marshall Plan of 1947 had on the creation of NATO

I tried using html editor but since each question is self contained I was not able to do this. I would like to use something similar to the following
