After I have loaded the Canvas App and click on attendance for a particular section, I can switch between sections only for a limited amount of time (perhaps 3 minutes). After that the section cannot be changed using the filter icon; I have to exit out of attendance and re-enter it. If the section name appears as a header, I can click on the header and a drop-down menu appears with all my sections. Selecting a different section does nothing.

Do you have a question about this that Community members can assist with? Or, are you wanting to report this as a possible bug in the mobile app? If you are wanting to report it as a possible bug, then you'd want to contact the Canvas Help Desk staff so they can log a ticket for you. The Canvas Community website isn't the same as reporting a ticket to the Help Desk.
I'm not sure if I'm interpreting your posting correctly or not...but wanted to pass along this information just in case.
