Canvas Mobile iOS - assignment grades

Hello 

I am able to view assignment grades on web however assignment grades are not available on my mobile device.  I followed the mobile iOS guide but I do not have the same options as shown.  On my mobile device, there is a banner that says 'total grades are restricted'.  I can see the overall grade on course card, but not the grades for assignments.  Assignments are listed as 'not submitted' - however on the web, the assignment are graded and have comments.  Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hi @DawnColgan! To answer the first part of your question, "Total grades are restricted" indicates that your instructor has restricted the viewing of overall grades. I would reach out to them for help. As for the discrepancy between your app and the web, I would encourage you to submit a Canvas support ticket to see if our Support Team can uncover why there is a discrepancy. You can find the Help options available to your institution in the Help Menu in Global Navigation.

I don't know if DawnColgan is experiencing the same thing, but for the parent who reported what appears to be the exact same error to me, they CAN see total grades when logging in via the website as an observer, just not in the app. I've also checked the course, and the setting to restrict the viewing of overall grades is not selected.

That is so strange! I'm so sorry you are experiencing that. If that setting is not selected in a course that is still not showing a grade, I would recommend submitting a ticket to our support team to look into it. You can find help options available from the Help Menu in Global Navigation.
