Language not updated on iPad

Hello
I want to change the settings and update the app language to English on canvas on my iPad (it’s in Spanish right now). The desktop version of canvas says my preferred language is English, which is my desired preference for the app as well, but the app is just not changing, It’s still in Spanish. I have logged out and in of canvas, deleted and reinstalled the app, and there is still no change.
