Can not log in to Canvas teacher app. Says invalid username/password.

• 100% sure they are both correct... it's 2019... just using copy/paste
• Exact same account info allows me to log in on the instructor website...

Can anyone spare some help here?

Hi Nick and Samaria ~

When you first open Canvas Teacher, you will need to type your institution's name or it's unique URL into the Find My School space. By default, the app tries to sign-in to canvas.instructure.com, and your credentials will not work there.

My university is not affiliated with this program. Does that mean my students and I can not use the app?

Log In to Canvas  is the website I use to log in.

When you tap Find My School, write in canvas.instructure.com OR Free Canvas Accounts. The app will redirect you to a log-in page where your credentials should work.

This worked perfectly for both the teacher app and the student app.
