The New To-Do List Update

Hey Canvas Instructure team, 

Recently I got a forced update on my Canvas IOS app, now my To-Do list is completely butchered. No longer do I have the red bubble on my app that lets me know how many things I have to do-which really was one of my saving graces for assignments and assessments. Now, I have to see every assignment, assessment, topic, etc. that my teachers have created when viewing my To-Do list. Because of this, I’ve had to do a lot of external organizing (which isn’t the worst thing in the world!), which certainly takes quite a lot of time. So it was nice when Canvas did this for me. 

Anyway, if you guys can add a setting to change this, that’d be awesome 😄

Hi! I had the same issue and contacted the help desk at my institution. They were unaware of an update to the app itself. I agree this feature is extremely helpful in maintaining my ability to keep track of completed assignments week by week. Hopefully this forum can bring some awareness to this issue!

As of now, uninstalling/reinstalling fixes the problem-so do that if you need to fix this :3
