Canvas Parent Release Notes (Android 3.11)

In Canvas Parent 3.11, observers can view assignment submission content and feedback in the Assignment Details page.

Canvas Android app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available as an update in the Play Store. The Canvas Parent Android app requires Android 8.0 or later.

Assignments

Submission Feedback Available

Observers can view assignment submission content and feedback in the Assignment Details page.

In Assignment Details, tap the Submission and Rubric button.

 Assignment Details View Feedback Button

When the Assignment Enhancements feature option is enabled, tap the View Feedback button.

Note: If the Assignment Enhancements feature option is disabled, the View Feedback button is not available, and only the comments will be displayed.

Feedback View

Observers can view all feedback related to the assignment.
